Professor Peruzzi has been appointed a member of the Georgofili Academy.

Lorenzo Peruzzi, professor of Systematic Botany and director of the Botanic Garden and Museum, has been appointed as an Aggregate Academician to the “Center-West Section” of the prestigious Georgofili Academy, the historic Florentine institution that since 1753 has aimed to contribute to the advancement of science and its applications to agriculture, environmental protection, landscape and agro-sylvo-pastoral territory.

The graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters.
